VALD ForceFrame
ForceFrame strength data, interpreted automatically
ForceFrame tells you where the strength deficits are; Kinexis tells you which ones matter this week. Every ratio, asymmetry and trend is calculated and written up per athlete, with the flag rules set by you.
Interpretation
CMJ asymmetry 14% (threshold 10%) driven by concentric impulse L. NordBord imbalance 11%. Recommend single-leg loading review before Thursday.

The manual version
What ForceFrame reporting costs you by hand.
ForceFrame produces a matrix — several positions, two limbs, multiple sessions — and the useful information is in the ratios and the change over time, not the raw numbers. Building those ratios and trends by hand for a squad is an afternoon's work every testing week.
What ForceFrame measures
- Hip adduction and abduction force, left and right
- Adductor-to-abductor ratio
- Shoulder internal and external rotation
- Neck, knee flexion and extension strength
- Between-limb asymmetry for every position
What Kinexis writes automatically
ForceFrame flags, written in plain English.
- Adductor–abductor ratio outside your target range
- Between-limb asymmetry above threshold for any position
- Groin or shoulder strength drop versus baseline
- Return-to-play benchmark versus position norms
- Progress through rehab stages versus the plan
Why one profile matters
Groin strength on ForceFrame, hamstring strength on NordBord and jump asymmetry on ForceDecks are three views of one athlete. Kinexis puts them on one profile so the pattern is visible without three tabs open.

Reading your ForceFrame data
Practitioner guides on interpreting the numbers — the thresholds, the trends and the traps.
How to read a ForceDecks report: every metric, what a good number looks like, and when to worry
The dozen CMJ metrics that matter, what they mean, and how to read them against the athlete's own history rather than a generic norm.

NordBord results explained: max force, N/kg, imbalance % and what counts as a red flag
Three numbers matter on a NordBord report. Here is what each one means, the thresholds people actually use, and the trap of reading imbalance without absolute force.

DSI is one number built from two tests. The quadrant report is where it becomes a programming decision — here is how to read it.

VALD Hub already shows me my data. What does Kinexis add?+
VALD Hub is excellent for viewing each system on its own. It does not unify all five platforms — or your PhotonSport speed data — into one analytical athlete view, it does not write interpretation flags, and it does not produce coach-facing reports. Kinexis sits on top of your VALD accounts and does those three things — typically replacing 5–6 hours of manual work per testing week.
We already have Power BI and an analyst.+
Kinexis started life as a Power BI system, so we understand exactly what that setup can do. The web app removes the licence cost, refresh limits and DAX maintenance, and the interpretation engine — the part that writes the flags — is the piece no generic analyst builds. Your analyst gets their week back for the questions only they can answer.
How is athlete data handled?+
Data is pulled using your organisation's own VALD credentials and stored in a database dedicated to you. We are happy to sign a data processing agreement and work within GDPR or your organisation's requirements, and can deploy a dedicated instance if you need one.
What does it cost?+
A one-time setup fee plus a monthly subscription that covers hosting, maintenance, upgrades and support. It is scoped to squad size and the VALD platforms you use — confirmed on a short call, never quoted blind.

Fifteen minutes on a real athlete profile. Bring a recent export if you like — it makes the call more useful. No pressure either way.
